The Frozen Way
How many times do you hear or say to yourself, “can’t have this food or that food?” How would you like to hear about one great easy thing that you can finally say, “I can have that!” And you should!
Frozen Berries are a good thing!
Frozen berries are a great addition to your menu. Aim to have at least 2 cups a week. Choose from raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries! You can buy them frozen without additional sweeteners. Or you can flash freeze your own at home.
Doing your own is an excellent way to go when there are sales. Having frozen berries in the refrigerator eliminates running out to get more when your fresh fruit at home goes bad. Having frozen helps you eliminate wasting uneaten fresh berries.
One cup of berries has close to 9 grams of fiber and only around 85 calories and naturally tastes sweet and helps with weight loss.
One cup of berries is loaded with antioxidants and Vitamin C which can help you with inflammation and help fend off being sick during the cold seasons.
One cup of berries has fiber that helps with digestion and slowly releases the sugar in your system that promotes some much-needed energy.
More benefits include helping with cognition, which is why they are on the Mind Diet.
Who is heading out to find some berries now?
