The Power of Meditation

Meditation is becoming more popular. The mind can find some peace or quiet through the use of meditation. All too often your thoughts crowd your brain and they increase in size and stay longer especially under stressful times. A good way to ease your mind is to take some ME time with a time out daily. Meditation can help. You can try it.

Increases Self Awareness

Expands Attention Spans

The list goes on and on. Many people find other beneficial positive results of meditation.

Ways to Meditate

Anybody can meditate. If you can breathe, you can meditate. Focus your mind on one thing without judgment. Sit or lie in a comfortable position. Your thoughts may stay, although you can encourage them to take a back seat while you meditate.

Think of now by focusing on your breathe as you inhale and exhale.

Some ways to clear your mind.

Relaxing thoughts and vacation spots, breathe, and feel the moment.

Be aware of all your senses.

Unplug from your electronics.

Reflect on good happy memories that bring joy.

Count your breaths.

Concentrate on affirmations

Try meditating in nature.  
 
Many people practice yoga, martial arts, or tai chi which includes mediation practice.

Finding the moment will do wonders for you.
